The public record is sparse on details on the career of Fr. Gerald Streeter, who was ordained to priesthood in 1968. Later in his career he was accused of having abused a student while teaching at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois back in 1964, before he became a priest. Streeter taught at Loyola’s Bellarmine School of Theology for two years before moving on to a preparatory school in Indianapolis. He worked around minors for most of his life, and passed away in 1996.[1]
